Expert Opinion
Picture this: an unsolicited call from someone claiming to be from Sky Maintenance, even though you're not even a Sky customer. This setup screams scam alert. The impersonation of a well-known brand like Sky to gain trust is a classic tactic used by fraudsters to extract personal details or push fake services. Hang up immediately if you spot red flags like unsolicited offers or pressure for info. To stay safe, verify any claims directly through official channels—never via the caller's provided numbers. Block the contact and report to Action Fraud for broader protection. Keep your details guarded; these calls prey on the unwary.
