Looks fraudulent.
An early‑evening landline call began with a pause and heavy background noise; a lady with an Indian accent mentioned my name (which I confirmed). She then talked about life insurance, asking which company, but I couldn't catch her answer. I told her I have no policy and intended to end the call; she never replied. It seems a scam, especially since she knew my name, so I flagged it as potentially dangerous.
Looks like a scam.
A call about "your life life insurance" was received; when I asked which company, the caller dropped the line. They had a South African accent, knew my name but reversed my surname and even knew my postcode, which I didn’t confirm.
