Looks like a scam. I got a mobile call from a man named Chris in Cambridge who asked if I was the householder responsible for the energy, then hung up as soon as I asked where he got the info. He never mentioned my name or address. I've blocked him.
The caller has been dialing daily, sometimes twice, over the past week, using various numbers that all claim to be ‘Chris – your local energy adviser’. I ignored today’s call because such junk calls usually come during school hours, even though I’m on the TPS and have removed my number from directories. The call dropped when my answering machine answered, confirming my suspicion. Likely the same scam; I’ve blocked it now.
