Opinia expertului
Clearly, these 0121 calls are predominantly scam attempts masquerading as legitimate services. Most callers claim to be from Vodafone voicemail or pose as utility workers, yet the pattern of unsolicited numbers and pressure tactics points to fraud. Never disclose personal or financial details to an unknown caller, and always verify by dialing the official company number yourself. Enable your handset’s spam and blocking features, and consider a third‑party call‑filtering app for added protection. Report persistent offenders to your network provider and to Action Fraud. Staying sceptical and cautious will keep your data safe.

The call gets forwarded conditionally, but then there’s no connection at all.

This is undoubtedly a scam, as evidenced by the call from an unrecognised mobile number, which I allowed to go to voicemail, only to receive a suspicious text message with a link to access the voicemail, a tactic that failed to deceive me, given my iPhone's voicemail notification system.

Upon receiving a call from 01214684222, my phone flagged it as suspected spam, and a callback from my withheld number yielded an automated greeting from the 'Communication Center', which seemed dubious.
The number 0121 725 9845 called, but didn't leave a message, leading me to suspect scamming activity.
For non-Vodafone users, the Vodafone voicemail number can be safely ignored
