I got a call from this number, but I've blocked all 012 prefixes because I don't know anyone with them. If you use a call blocker, add 012 to the blocked area codes. This appears to be an insulation scam, though the same prefixes have been used for insurance and appliance fraud. Numbers beginning with 011, 012, 013, 014, 015, 016, 0177, 018, 019, 020, 028, 074, 075, 077, 078, 079 are mostly scams.
I received a call about my washing‑machine warranty that had just expired. The caller tried to persuade me to extend it for £99 a year.
