Cold call asking to dial 1461 and call back. Likely a scam trying to charge for the call. Claimed to be from Amazon two days ago. My number is new, so unsure how they got it. Do not call back!

This number is a nuisance, calling multiple times a day. They don't accept 'no' and are quite relentless.

When I confronted the caller about the scam, they became aggressive, using profanity and taking offense to my laughter

Further evidence has emerged that this individual is a scammer, having traced the call to a specific location in Bournemouth, where they have attempted to contact me from a neighbouring address, and even infiltrated my other phone, demonstrating a blatant disregard for privacy.

A representative from Zest market research asked me a series of questions, including the make of my washing machine, whether I have household insurance for my appliances, and if I would be willing to participate in a competition to win a new washing machine or television; after reading the comments here, I have decided to block the number
