The email addresses were suspicious, and when they asked for bank details, we knew it was a scam. Now, I get weekly calls from this number.

Someone rang my workplace, and after we expressed no interest, they became abusive. They also tried to persuade us to replace our meters.

Scammers claiming to be from a utility company offered to cut my electricity bill to £35. I doubt the sincerity. They requested my latest bill and meter photo via WhatsApp, so I asked for an email. They provided a Hotmail address. Highly unprofessional!
