Got a call from this number, didn't answer 'cos I didn't recognise it. Glad I didn't, or I might've got scamed. Now it's blocked, and that's that.
A caller posing as a representative from Carphone Warehouse or Curry’s said a phone contract in my name was ending, quoted a new amount, and urged me to renew over the phone rather than in‑store.
Some bird called Amy rang me from this number, sayin' she was from Carphone Warehouse/Curys. Said my phone contract was up for renewal, and if I didn't sort it out there and then, I'd be stung with a higher price in store.
These muppets rang me three times, even after I told 'em to sod off. Said they were from Carphone Warehouse, but got all huffy when I weren't intrested.
