Yet another fraud attempt, this one on my unlisted home phone pushing Sky TV protection plans. They target weekends for better success since kids are out of school on break. When they ring, either waste their time or politely decline and move on.

Ekspertvurdering
Like a persistent drizzle that soaks through your defences, these unsolicited calls from scammers peddling TV equipment warranties can disrupt your weekend peace. Reports indicate they're targeting ex-directory lines now, capitalising on holiday downtime when folks are home more. Sky TV cover offers sound dubious—genuine providers don't cold-call aggressively like this. Hang up immediately if you spot the signs: no caller ID match, high-pressure sales tactics, or requests for personal details. Register with the Telephone Preference Service to cut down on such nuisances, and consider call-blocking apps for extra protection. Stringing them along might amuse, but it's wiser to report to Action Fraud and move on.
