A woman with an Asian accent claimed to be from British Gas, yet I have no gas service here – sounds like a scam.
It was a call‑centre scam.
This appears to be a scam.
Received a call from this number pretending to be Uber Eats about a business account and requesting details to “update” it. When I asked for verification of the business name and email, they claimed they couldn’t disclose it. I warned them I recognised the scam and they responded rudely. Stay away!
