Expertenmeinung
Amazon's name popping up in unsolicited calls like this one is a classic red flag for scammers preying on shoppers. These fraudsters often invent stories about fake purchases to trick people into sharing personal details or sending money. The claim of an iPhone buy sounds bogus, especially without any real order confirmation from Amazon itself. Hang up immediately if you get something similar—never verify info or click links they provide. Enable two-factor authentication on your accounts and report the number to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov. Staying vigilant keeps your data safe from these phishing schemes.
