Caution: this number appears tied to automated scam calls. Recent user reports describe a robo‑caller using the label “CTHECOUNILFORBR” and flipping prefixes to mask its origin, a classic tactic for scam operations. Callers often leave no voicemail and rely on repeated rings to provoke a callback, hoping to harvest personal data or payment info. Best practice is to block the number in your phone settings and report it to the FTC’s Do Not Call registry. Avoid answering unknown unfamiliar prefixes, and never share credit card or Social Security details. Keeping a call‑log helps spot patterns and strengthens your defenses.
