After making a payment of nearly $940 over the phone, I began to suspect that I had fallen victim to a scam. However, upon reviewing my credit report, I discovered that the debt had indeed been paid, and my credit score had increased accordingly.

After doing a reverse number search, it appears they are using a disposable phone, and it's hard to find their company info, but I'll keep researching and report back to the Attroney General's office.
I had a similar experience where they claimed Capitol One was suing me, but I saw through their scam and reported it to my HR manager.
My HR manager at work recieved a call from this number and passed on the message to me, thats all i know
