Stay alert: calls from +1‑866‑907‑9594 are widely reported as fraudulent. Most listeners hear a garbled voice claiming to represent Wellcare, asking for personal details like address, Medicare ID, or Social Security number. Because the real Wellcare never initiates such outreach, treat any request for information as a red flag. Hang up immediately, block the number, and report the incident to your carrier or the FTC. If you’re unsure, call the official Wellcare customer line using the number on your member card, not the one provided in the call. Keep a log of suspicious calls to help authorities track patterns.
