I was then transferred to a specialist who requested 'Brad's' birthdate, only to discover that it did not match the one on file. I requested that my phone number be removed from their records, and I was assured that I would be added to their do-not-call list. Although I am not certain if this is a scam, it is unsettling as a widow to worry about potential identity theft.
