The pattern matches a classic impersonation scam where callers claim to deliver sealed documents and demand you be home with ID and a witness. Never share personal details or schedule a visit based on an unsolicited call. Hang up, block the number, and verify any alleged delivery through the official agency or postal service using known contact info. Report the number to the FTC or your carrier’s fraud department, and educate friends and family so they can spot the fake courier ruse before it escalates.
I've been inundated with messages from a supposed courier, 'Jeffry', and more recently, a caller claiming to be Henry Roth/Ross, who is now threatening to contact my family and track me down

I received a call from this number today, and it's unclear who the client is. Previously, I received a similar call, but no one showed up as promised. I do not engage with scammers and have blocked the number.
The call claimed to be regarding a payday loan from 'my cash' in 2015 and requested the last four digits of the social security number, raising concerns about a potential scam.

These scammers are particulary inept, as they called to announce their visit, but then showed up at my home unanounced, wich is quite puzzling.
They claimed to be a process server, they said i needed to be home the next day to sign some documents with 2 forms of id and a witness
This seems to be a variation of the same scam, with a slightly different number but the same approach.
Similarly, I've encountered this scam, where the number is marginally altered, following the same predictable pattern.
