I've been getting calls from this number saying my eletric bill is past due, but i dont even have an account with that company
The caller claimed that an AEP bill was overdue and threatened to disconnect the electric service, which was proved to be a scam.
This number is extremely irritating due to its daily spam and scam calls
I recieved call about overdue bill, but i already paid it, this is a scam caller, be aware.

It is amusing that scammers would target me with a utility bill scam, given that I do not pay the electric bill and my family does not even use the mentioned utility company.
Although I didn't answer, a message about a late bill was left; however, when I called back, they requested sensitive information, which raised concerns, especially since our bill had already been paid, leading me to block the number.
When calling back, it was claimed that the account was past due, despite this being incorrect.

The call was from someone claiming to be from american electric power, or so it seem.
AEP is reportedly using this number to remind customers about imminent payment deadlines, threatening service disconnection, and utilizing scare tactics such as mentioning a service order at the customer's house.
After verifying the authenticity of the call with Appalachian Power, it was confirmed that this number is being used for scam purposes. As such, I have been advised to be cautious and never provide sensitive information in response to suspicious calls.
A robocall informed me that a bill was due and requested my social security number
I got a scam call from this number, they said i had a work order with some power company and i need to call them back with my account number, it sound's fishy

Apparently, as an AEP customer, I recieve warnings whenever I log into my account about potential scammers and the importance of not divulging my SSN or name to anyone who calls, especailly if they should allready know my name

It's posible that legit numbers can be spoofed, probably AEP is aware of this issuse
This is not a legitimate number, it's not even AEP's official toll free number, you can find it by googling, AEP never ask for your social security number, even when you are late.
A voicemail was left claiming my electric bill with SWEPCO was overdue and scheduled for disconnection.
Apparently, this is some kind of scam, when you search the number online, it should show up with a legitimate logo, but my bill dont have any balance, next bill aint due til next week tho
The caller ID revealed the name of the suspected scammers, and plans are being made to report them to the authorities
