This number is supposed to be from the State Attorney General, but I'm not shure.

I came across a similar post from Barbara and received a call from the same number with the same caller name, Calvin Turner, which seems to be an ongoing scam.

A caller named Calvin Turner claimed to be collecting a debt, but I have no outstanding debts. He insisted on obtaining personal information before disclosing the purpose of the call. It's advisable to disconnect calls from this number.

At 8:22AM, I received an alleged debt collection call, which I suspected was a phishing attempt. The representative asked for my birthdate, but when I told them to provide it since they should have the information, they were unable to do so. Similarly, they requested the last four digits of my social security number, but again, they couldn't provide it themselves. Throughout the conversation, the individual was rude and continuously stated that the call was being recorded, insisting it wasn't a phishing call, despite their inability to provide any relevant information.

These scammers have been harrasing my 80 year old mother, using a local number to make it seem more legit.
