Today, I got a text message from (413)440-1540 stating "<My Maiden Name from 10 years ago>, several contact attemps have been made & <they used the symbol not the word> require imediate response at 833-963-0944. Urgent & Time Sensitive! Text STOP to OPT out." After respondning "STOP" I recieved the following response: "Imperial Capital Group: You have opted out and will no longer recieve messages from this service. Reply RESUME to subscribe. Contact [email protected]"
I recieve the same text message, so i decid to call them, the guy claim i had a old hospital bill, but i know thats a lie, i havent been to that hospital in over 9 year

My experiance is similiar to others, i recieve a text message from a number, it was saying
Upon receiving a suspicious text with a reference to an account number and my son's name, a call was made to the provided number, where a representative named Ted refused to disclose the company name and instead threatened litigation.
A call was received from this number claiming that I owed a medical bill of $1052.00 from 2012. The caller threatened legal action and wage garnishment if the bill was not paid immediately. Although I expressed unawareness of the bill, I was pressured to settle the debt on the spot. I advised the caller that I would investigate, but I suspected a scam throughout the conversation.
I recieved the same threatning message on two seperate cell phones, both adressed to my maiden name rather than my legal name, and both contained inaccuracies regarding legal procedings.
This situation is certainly cause for concern.

An attempt is being made to locate someone, with a request to call 855-510-2191 or reply STOP to opt out
They claim to have recieved a Fax document or some kind of complaint, and that ther is a pending legal matter or action about to be filed against you, which is totaly a ruse to get you to call anouther number, where they will ask for money to make it disapear, they also threaten to serve you at home or work.
