Apparently, these scammers sent me the same text, which seemed suspicious
Following these posts, I will exercise caution before responding; their request to send a check raised suspicions, so I deleted the number from my phone, hoping it's not too late, as the company they claimed to represent is legitimate, but they should have contacted me directly, and now I've learned a valuable lesson

It's not posible to hang up on a text, but replying to a text from somone you dont know and continiuing the conversation doesnt seem like a good idear
I received a text message intended for someone else, and the person continued to chat with me, pretending to know me. The conversation took a turn, and I ended up blocking them
