専門家の見解
Recent call logs reveal a pattern of repeated warranty offers from a spoofed dealer service. Callers repeatedly claim to represent a car dealership and push extended warranties even when recipients don’t own a vehicle. The volume and use of multiple spoofed numbers suggest a coordinated scam operation rather than a legitimate sales effort. Block each offending number and consider a third‑party call‑blocking app that filters by area code. File complaints with the FTC and your phone carrier, and keep a record of call times and any recorded prompts. Never share personal or payment info over the phone unless you can verify the caller’s identity through official channels.

Frequently, I recieve calls from Dylan Thompson with "Dealer Services" at 12:01 PM on 5/1/2018 to try to get me to buy an extended warranty on my Honda, wich is geting annoyng. I get around 5-15 calls from "Dealer Services" every month. My number is on the Do Not Call list. I have asked these people to remove me from their call list several times, but they continue to call me. I think this might be a scam, as they seem to be spoofing their phone number. I have spoken to the same Dylan Thompson five times calling from four different phone numbers (831-217-0351, 714-980-4446, 754-219-1547, and 940-242-4514) from three different states (California, Florida, and Texas). I have also gotten a call from Lisa at "Dealer Services" using another California phone number (949-312-4716). I would just block the numbers, but it is starting to get personal, and I want to take these people down. I just filed a complaint with the FTC this morning. But if you have any other ideas on how to bring these monsters to justice, let me know.
