On 03/03/22, at 2:02 pm, I received a text claiming to be a Regions Bank alert with an authorization code and a link, despite not having a Regions account.
At 7:30 AM, I received the same alert, despite having no affiliation with M&T, leading me to delete the message and block the number.
I just got this alert at 6 AM, it said something about M&T bank, but I dont use them.
The caller stated there was an M & T ALERT and provided a verification code, but since I didn't initiate it, they advised me to visit a specific HTTP address.
This call was a silent spam attempt.
