Spoofed AT&T calls: stop the scam now! - +1 800-947-5096 ((800) 947-5096)
Ever wonder why a call that sounds like AT&T shows up on your voicemail? Most of these recordings are spoofed messages trying to get you to pay a bill or hand over account details. Because the number 1‑800‑947‑5096 can be forged, the caller usually has no real link to the carrier. Treat any payment reminder as suspicious, verify with the official AT&T website or app, and never share personal info over the phone. Use your phone’s block feature or an app, report the number to the FTC and your carrier, and keep a log of repeated attempts to help authorities track the phishing pattern. Remember, a legitimate bill notice will always give you a clear way to confirm it without pressure.

Not AT&T
Este número no pertenece a AT&T.

Initially, the caller seemed legitimate, but after contacting ATT, it was confirmed to be a scam, and I strongly advise against providing personal information to this number.
I had an AT&T account linked to this phone number, which raises questions about whether funds were diverted with the intention of committing fraud. I am no longer a customer of AT&T.

Not AT&T
I got a call from 1-800-947-5096 pretending to be AT&T; the store told me it wasn't their number, advised me to block it, and later a friend's phone was scammed by the same source, forcing a replacement of her device and SIM.

Although I didn't receive a call, a letter purportedly from AT&T Mobility claiming my bill was overdue and threatening suspension unless paid immediately was received. However, the account details were falsified, and the phone number provided was not legitimate.

The notice looks authentic; my bill is overdue, and the recorded message asked me to call back or pay online at att.com. I’ll handle the payment through the website instead of returning the call.

Estafa: no presiones 1, llama a tu operador AT&T
The company's persistent calls and lack of response to my concerns have led me to consider switching to a different provider.

AT&T me llamó sobre mi factura vencida de celular. Llamada legítima.
