At 8 p.m. I answered a call that played terrible hold music; a deep‑voiced Hispanic male announced the call was being recorded and addressed me by name. When I dialed the number back, a greeting thanked me for calling UCB, mentioned the office was closed, then said extension 25159 was unavailable before the line dropped. The whole thing felt suspicious—no debt‑collection notice, just awful music that started as soon as I said hello.
