Like a stranger tapping on your door with a forged badge, a bogus Google Listings call can trick you into sharing info or pressing keys. The message claims your business listing isn’t verified, a classic phishing ploy that leverages brand trust. Since the call was automated and asked you to press 1 for an agent, it fits the pattern of a robocall scam. Hang up immediately, verify any alerts directly through the official Google My Business dashboard, and consider adding the number to your phone’s block list. Enable two‑factor authentication on your Google account and report the call to the FTC’s spam‑call portal.
