Ever wonder why your phone keeps pinging a phantom voicemail from the same number? Most users report that the number belongs to a carrier’s default voicemail service, often surfacing as a silent alert with no actual message. To cut the noise, first verify your voicemail settings and disable any call‑forwarding that routes to this number. If the alerts persist, block the caller ID through your device or carrier, and consider filing a complaint with your provider’s fraud department. Never return the call or provide personal info, as scammers can spoof these alerts to harvest credentials. Stay vigilant and keep your voicemail preferences tidy.
