I've noticed numerous informative posts and links in this thread, and I sugest you use them to edify yourself. Alterntively, you can igonre them and pay the extortion money, but be aware that they will continute to call until they've taken every penny you have. The desision is yours, I hope you make the correct one.
Tom gilcrez called me, he said they got a court action against me from some aspire visa credit card from 2004, but i never owed them any money, he had all my info, bank acct, ss, address, i dont know how to stop them from freezing my acct, they scammed me 2 years ago and i paid them 1500

The caller claimed I had outstanding debt, but I'm aware that my old debts have expired under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I've rebuilt my credit, purchased vehicles and a home, so I'm certain this is a scam. I've blocked the number.

They claimed I had an unpayed credit card debt from 2003, which they had correct info about, but after giving them my bank details, the transaction didnt occure as promised, and I latter discovered it was a mortgage company.

That number is bein used by som financial scammers, includin Paul Sullivan, and Tom Gilchrist, and Mike Kelly, and Richard Smith
