Patterns emerge across reports: callers using +1‑614‑845‑7432 repeatedly deliver automated, threatening messages that claim to be the IRS and demand immediate payment. The script often includes false badge numbers, fabricated addresses, and legal intimidation, targeting seniors and anyone reachable via Google Voice. Such tactics fit classic IRS impersonation scams, leveraging urgency to bypass skepticism. Recipients should never share personal data, verify the claim via official IRS channels, and let the call go to voicemail. Employ call blocking tools, report the number to the FTC, and consider a PIN‑protected voicemail greeting to deter threatening voicemail. Staying calm and confirming legitimacy are the best defenses.
Be aware of fake IRS calls attempting to obtain your social secuirity number, as i've been tricked before and won't let it happen again.
I appreciate the information provided, FS. As a senior, I am a prime target for these thieves, and I have learned to be cautious. I only answer calls from known numbers, as I have been burned in the past.
Upon recieving a phone call from 614-845-7432, they claim to be the IRS, stating I've been underpaying taxes since 2010, but they couldn't even get my adress right, and thats alot of mony.
