Expert Opinion
If you got a call from +15188726941 and they left you a verification code, treat it with caution. Unknown numbers that drop codes are often trying to prove they have your info so they can later ask for personal details or money. Do not reply with any info, and don’t click any links they might send. Block the number, scan your device for malware, and consider reporting it to your carrier or the FTC. If you have an account that actually uses verification codes, verify the request directly through the official app or website, not through the caller.
