The callers repeatedly pressure recipients to donate, while posing as a legitimate nonprofit. This is a classic charity scam that exploits trust in public service organizations. Hang up immediately, block the number, and report the incident to the state attorney general and the Federal Trade Commission. Never share personal or financial information with unsolicited callers. If you’ve already given money, contact your bank to dispute the charge and consider filing a police report. Stay skeptical of any unexpected charity solicitations.
They posed as the police officers association of Michigan, a charity or so they claim, but i'm going to report them to the attorney general for fraudulently posing as a charity, they wont stop calling me.
