Expert Opinion
Recent spikes in complaints reveal callers using the +1‑504‑208‑2575 number to pose as Amazon support. The recordings sound auto‑generated and push you to purchase or verify a gift‑card under the pretense of a charge. Never return the call or provide personal info; instead, contact Amazon directly through the official website or app. Block the number with your phone’s built‑in features or a third‑party app, and report the incident to the FTC and your carrier. Keep a log of suspicious calls, and educate household members about the scam tactics so they can spot fake urgency and avoid falling for it.
