Undeliverable address scam – how to protect yourself! - +1 480-547-2178 ((480) 547-2178)
Tổng quan — +14805472178
Ý kiến chuyên gia
Imagine receiving a text that claims your address is undeliverable and urges you to call a mysterious number. The pattern shows up repeatedly from +1‑480‑547‑2178, often using a relative’s name or a maiden name to create urgency. These messages are classic address verification scams and rarely represent a legitimate carrier or service. Do not click any links or provide personal data. Block the number through your phone, forward the message to 7726, and report it to the FTC or your state consumer agency. Verify any real delivery issues directly with the known company using official contact info, not the number in the text.

A suspicious message claimed there was an issue with a package delivery due to an undeliverable address, prompting me to click a link to update my information. The message was deleted and the sender blocked.

A text message was received from this number, but it instructed me to call a different number altogether, using a reference number, supposedly regarding an issue with my address being undeliverable, which seems suspicious as official communications would likely be via email and clearly state the business's identity.

I received the same message, but it was addressed to my maiden name, which I haven't used since 2006 and isn't associated with this phone number, leaving me puzzled about how they connected the two.
This number is associated with fraudulent activities.

After receiving a text and subsequent calls inquiring about a Sue McCollum, whom I do not know, I took measures to block the number and report it to the relevant authorities, including the FTC and local law enforcement, given my past experience with identity theft in 2015.

My 84-year-old mother received a text from this number, inquiring about her deceased ex-husband, which seemed like a scam or an attempt by an old debt collector to verify her social security number before proceeding.

I was surprised to receive a text about my ex-husband's address being undeliverable, especially given that we divorced 30 years ago.
