Ekspertvurdering
You’ve probably seen messages that claim to be from Uber and ask you to click a link. Those texts usually mimic the app’s tone, mention a driver’s name, a vehicle, or an account‑activation offer, but they hide a malicious link that can steal your personal info or install malware. Verify any request by opening the official Uber app or logging into your account directly—never follow URLs from unknown SMS. If the sender asks for a license, payment, or password, treat it as a red flag and report the number to Uber’s fraud team and your carrier. Keep your phone’s security settings updated and consider blocking the number if it persists.
