My elderly mother has been repeatedly contacted by a woman who identifies herself as Deidra. Over several months she has manipulated her into sending thousands of dollars, claiming she won a prize that must be kept secret or else she won’t receive it. Deidra has effectively brain‑washed my mother and refuses to stop calling. Although I have blocked the number multiple times, she finds alternate ways to reach her. My mom is now three months behind on rent and utilities. Please treat this as a warning!
