Yesterday afternoon my phone lit up with a call from a Baytown, Texas line that I didn't recognize. The repeat attempts, brief music placeholder and a vague text asking for personal confirmation are classic hallmarks of a robocall scam. If you get a similar call, let it go to voicemail, avoid clicking any links, and block the number in your device settings. Report the number to your carrier’s spam‑block service and consider adding it to a third‑party blacklist. Staying silent and not engaging is the safest move.
I recieved a text message pretending to know me and then seeking confirmation of my identiy.
This number called my cell phone 12 times at 10:16 AM, and it was marked as a spam risk, looks like a scam.
Somebody called my cell, I declinced the call, it showed it was from Baytown, Texas, dont know anyone ther, I called back from a diffrent phone and it playd music for a few sec then disconected, another scam!
