Repeated calls from this number have been made throughout the day. Upon answering one call, I found a woman on the other end, complete with fake applause in the background. The request to send money to NY via debit card was laughable. Each subsequent call has come from a different number.
The call featured a woman speaking in a peculiar, clown-like tone before introducing herself as a representative of the United Breast Cancer association, which seemed unusual.
A message was left about a free medic alert bracelet, but it's a scam, so I blocked the number.
