Ý kiến chuyên gia

Recent patterns point to a classic prize‑claim scam that masquerades as a free giveaway. Callers typically announce a bogus $25,000 prize, pressure you to press a key, and then disappear or hand you a recording. The silence you heard is a common tactic to avoid detection, while the vague "WCA" label is likely a fabricated brand. To stay safe, let the call go to voicemail, block the number, and never share personal info or press any prompts. If you suspect fraud, report the number to your carrier and the FTC for further investigation.

A voicemail message prompted me to press 1 to discover more about an Internet contest I supposedly entered, or press 3 to opt out, which seemed like a potential scam.

Apparently, it was a supposid 'giveaway' from some company called WCA... yeah right. I tried to report the number, but it just went to a recording, no way to speak to a real person. When they first called, I said hello like 4 times, but no one responded. I absolutly hate these kinds of calls!!
