Ekspertvurdering
The consensus points to a telemarketing scam masquerading as a WCA service. Recipients report vague messages, no legitimate verification, and a push to surrender personal numbers. Ignoring unknown calls, using carrier‑level spam filters, and registering with the Do‑Not‑Call list are the safest steps. If you accidentally engage, hang up immediately and avoid entering any data. For persistent offenders, consider filing a complaint with the FTC and your phone provider. Stay skeptical of unsolicited promotions and always verify the source before sharing contact info.

Skipped answering. Dialed back and heard: "You've reached WCA; you're not a registered subscriber." Searched WCA online but got nowhere. Almost certain it's sales calls. Plan to keep dodging them.

Returning the call revealed a promotion that required entering my number, which seemed dubious, confirming suspicions of a scam; blocking numbers appears to be ineffective, as calls continue despite being blocked, so it's best to ignore unfamiliar numbers.
