A survey was the pretext for the call, supposedly from Oakville Hydro, prompting me to hang up.
The call was from a survey company conducting a survey on behalf of the Government of Canada. However, the woman on the phone was chewing gum loudly, making it difficult to hear, and refused to stop when asked.
Although the call display showed it was the Govt of Canada calling, no message was left, making it difficult to verify the authenticity of the call
