Ý kiến chuyên gia
Picture this: a call lights up your phone from +12262173493, a voice prompts you to press numbers, then claims to be looking for a former resident or a bill you don’t owe. The call is likely a debt collector using automated robocall tactics, often classified as spam. First, do not confirm any personal details – name, SIN, banking info – until you verify the organization through an official channel. Hang up if the script feels pushy, then add the number to your phone’s block list or a call‑filtering app. Register the line with your national do‑not‑call registry, and report persistent abuse to consumer‑protection agencies. Keeping a log of dates and messages helps if you need to dispute a claim later.
