If you get a call from +12152412400 claiming to be Independence Blue Cross, pause before you share anything. Ask for a direct office line or call the official Blue Cross customer service number you already have on file. Never give out your birth date, SSN, or insurance details to an unsolicited caller – legitimate reps will never demand that info over the phone. If the call feels rushed, vague, or ends abruptly, treat it as a scam and block the number.
