Ekspertvurdering

Caution: receiving unexpected calls from unfamiliar numbers often signals a scam operation, especially when they demand payment for alleged debts or threaten legal action. Protect yourself by refusing to share personal or financial details, hanging up if the caller pressures you, and documenting the interaction. Use your carrier's call‑blocking features or third‑party apps to filter suspicious numbers, and report the incident to the relevant consumer‑protection agency such as the FCA or the Information Commissioner's Office. If a legitimate organisation needs to contact you, they will typically follow up with a formal letter or email. Staying vigilant and keeping records can help curb repeat harassment.
