Ý kiến chuyên gia

Repeated reports show the 01916 719997 number is repeatedly used for fake BT calls, often pretended upgrades or PPI offers. Callers typically ask for account details, passwords or personal data, then hang up or disappear. Never disclose passwords or personal information to unsolicited callers, even if they mention your name or reference a recent service. If the call is silent or the message vague, let it go to voicemail and verify the request by calling the official BT 0800 number yourself. Use call‑blocking apps, report the number to Action Fraud and consider filing a complaint with your phone provider to curb future scams.

The constant ringing is becoming tiresome, as I never answer unknown calls and always block and report them, only for them to use a different number

441916719997 Gọi quấy rối

04/08/2022

My tactic for dealing with unfamiliar numbers is to wait for the caller to speak, then pretend to need to get a pen to take notes before placing the phone down, allowing the call to incur costs for them.
