They attempted to claim they could secure my tax refund. Unfortunately for them, they called an accountant. TOTAL SCAM, and I made that clear to them.

Názor odborníka
The caller, likely operating from a large call centre abroad, has been making numerous attempts to scam individuals by posing as representatives from reputable organisations such as HMRC and insurance companies. They often claim to be offering refunds or discounts, but actually aim to phish for sensitive information like bank details. Users have reported that the scammers can be quite aggressive and rude when confronted. It's essential to be cautious and not provide any personal information to these callers. If you receive a call from this number, it's best to hang up immediately and report it to your bank or the relevant authorities. Remember to always verify the identity of the caller and never give out sensitive information over the phone, especially when it comes to bank account details.

The caller inquired about a relative who passed away 15 years ago, at which point I ended the call.
Exactly as described above. It's quite ridiculous. They must assume we’re all gullible. I managed to keep her on the line for nearly ten minutes. When I mentioned 'scam' and said I would search the number online, I doubt it would change anything. These entities just keep resurfacing, unfortunately!

A well-spoken caller claimed to represent the Postcode Lottery. She stated that my postcode had won a discount card that would provide hundreds of pounds off at retailers like Asda, Tesco, and Morrisons. Additionally, it included a holiday of 14 days at a location of my choice, but I needed to provide her with an email address to receive the details. I expressed my skepticism about her being from the Postcode Lottery, and she said it was my decision, but she was calling regarding the win for my postcode, even quoting it back to me to verify that I was the correct person for the prize. I told her there was no need for verification since the Postcode Lottery already had my details and contacted me regularly. This is clearly a scam, and the Postcode Lottery does not distribute discount cards.
A phishing attempt was made, claiming a refund from Domestic & General for washing machine insurance, and the caller hung up when questioned about it.
They claimed to be from HMRC, offering to return tax on a previous PPI refund. They asked for my address and bank details, but I ended the call immediately.

Somebody try to convince me that i was due a refund from HMRC, but i didnt belive them
A woman with a foreign accent, seemingly in a loud environment, claimed to be from the HMRC department. She mentioned a reclaim of my PPI payment. I questioned why HMRC would be working on a Saturday and why they were reclaiming instead of repaying. She hung up without answering—another scam attempt.
