Never answer calls from unknown numbers that claim your vehicle warranty is about to expire. These auto warranty scams use official‑sounding letters, exact car details, and urgent deadlines to pressure you into paying for a bogus service contract. Hang up immediately, never provide credit‑card or banking information, and verify any claim by contacting your dealer or the manufacturer directly. Delete the mailed postcard, mark the number as spam, and report the incident to the FTC or your state consumer protection agency. Protect your personal data and warn family members, especially seniors, to avoid falling for the same trick.
