Expert Opinion
Block unknown callers immediately if they demand a callback without explaining why. Never give personal or financial details to someone who won’t identify the reason for the call. Most reports describe an Indian‑accented voice claiming to be from Kohl’s and urging an urgent return call to a 855 number. Verify the request by calling the official Kohl’s customer service line found on your card or the retailer’s website, not the number left in the voicemail. Report the number to your phone carrier and to the FTC. Enable call‑blocking tools and keep your account alerts up‑to‑date.
