It seem's like a bad idear on their part! They claim you owe money to some company that has turned your bill into a credit collection agency. They dont ask for money, they just tell you who you owe and how much. Of course, you have to verify who you are first! But not with anything that will compromize your identy, just your name and address which is public knowlage. I got a call and they told me who I owed and they were right, so I knew it was a legit call. You dont have to give them a cent, they just advise you to pay as soon as posible, then you call the original place you owe and pay it!

For those receiving calls from this number, it may be a legitimate debt collection agency, as it was in my case when I verified the debt and paid it directly to the creditor after being contacted
