Expertadvies
Never give out a verification code to an unsolicited caller – that single six‑digit number can let a fraudster hijack your WhatsApp account. These messages are classic phishing attempts. If you receive a text or call asking for a code you didn’t request, hang up, delete the message, and report the number to your carrier and to the FTC. Block the sender in your phone’s settings and enable two‑factor authentication on all accounts. Keep your app updated, and never share OTPs via email, social media, or phone. If the calls persist, consider a call‑blocking app to stop calls and file a complaint with local consumer‑protection agencies.
